For 25 years we offer international summer courses for teenagers.  Alongside the teaching programme of 20 lessons a week, there is an attractive leisure programme, with sport, games and fun lined up.

German Summer Course Description

In our summer courses the basic rules of German grammar are made interesting and lively, so that what you learn can immediately be put to use in conversation. Games, informative teaching methods, videos, German popsongs ... learning a new language need not be boring! Because of its central location, Augsburg is an ideal starting point for visiting Germany's most beautiful tourist attractions. Careful, thematic preparation in class integrates these excursions into the timetable, and the visual impressions are reinforced with basic historical and political background.

There will never be more than 14 pupils in one class! Please understand that we are usually unable to accept beginners on these courses.

Age

Minimum age is 14, but expceptions can, of course, be made, in the case of brothers and sisters, for instance.

Teaching programme

Twenty 45-minute lessons over 4 schooldays [5 lessons per day: 8.30 - 12.45] and one day-long excursion. Lessons are conducted by experienced teachers, and the leisure activities are always run by professionally-trained supervisors!

Arrival

Students normally arrive on the Sunday before the beginning of the course. If the students arrive by train, they can of course be picked up from the station. We organize a transfer from Munich Airport [EUR 40,00], which is especially suitable for unaccompanied students. The students are picked up from the airport gate by a driver, and taken directly to their homestay family in Augsburg. This offer applies to the departure trip as well, and the driver helps the student to check-in and makes sure that they arrive safely.

If you are planning on accompanying your child to Augsburg, we are happy to organize a hotel for you.

Security

Augsburg is a safe city but please do not have large amounts of cash on them - plus, it's easy to lose things! The public transport is also very safe, punctual and reliable.
